Hotel was just ok. Area very dirty, lots of rubbish on the road outside, traffic signs rusty, damaged, rubish in flower pots on the streets, no flowers there, nothing to eat in the hotel, restaurant in the hotel was closed but we were recomended to go to pizzeria which was nearby. Not good food in pizzeria, expensive, rubish to eat. Next day we were flying to Sicilia - uncompareble location, nice food, clean. We left early to early flight so we didn´t get a breakast. I asked if we can get the coffee in the morning - answer was - you have cofee facilities in the room, so you can do it on your own. There were just 2 small bags of coffee for 2 people - only for 1 coffee each. Taxi was late in the morning, price 15 Euro to Charleroi airport. We travel a lot every month, but Charleroi is big dissapointment for us, bus drivers do not speak English. If you do not speak French you are lost there. The same in pizzeria. We were only guests in pizzeria at 7 P.M. Hotel was very good compared with the location. Concerning the location we could not expect more, we were very happy to be safe in the hotel, becasue it was nothing around there where we could go for a walk. Many people are smoking in Charleroi, lots of rest of cigarettes were on the streets.

hotel room was very clean, staff were very helpful, how ever there is no bar and restaurant was closed, so it was a bit of a walk to bars and restaurants
no bars, or restaurant open, suites are a little "dated"

With two hotels in Charleroi I was not informed my booked hotel had been changed until after I had left home!

The room was clean and friendly staff.
No free internet and it was rather expensive the hour.

As soon as the elevator door opened and I saw the mess the carpet was in I knew what to expect when I got to the room. Carpet was filthy,around the tiles at the bath was black.All in All really quite dirty although the bed was clean. If we'd been staying anymore than one night I would have asked to get another room

Food is excellent. The room is proper and the personnel are very friendly.
When the electric was down (brown out) in the morning we could'nt drink warm koffie, thee or cold juices.
